Hallo ihr lieben,
Ich heiße Tabitha und lebe in Amerika.
Bitte schreibt mir in Englisch, ich liebe Kunst und kreiere, verkaufen und trade gerne ATCs/Kakaokarten. Wenn ich im Forum schreibe, werde ich versuchen, es mit Google Translate auf Deutsch und das, was ich geschrieben habe, auf Englisch einzubinden. Ich hoffe, Sie haben etwas Geduld mit etwaigen Übersetzungsfehlern. Für meine Einleitung werde ich es jedoch auf Englisch belassen. Danke schön!

Hello, my name is Tabitha and I am from California in the United States and have been creating cards for over 10 years and run the ATC trading group ATC it up with Friends. I cannot read German but I can use google translate and my good friend Susi is German and she can help me translate if you are unable to write me in English. I love to trade, sell and buy ATCs / Kakaokarten.
I am a fantasy artist that mostly uses watercolor, ink, gouache and color pencils. I sometimes do alcohol ink cards as well. I prefer to draw creatures and do not often draw humans.

I am very new to this website so I hope you will be patient with me since when I look at it I’m using google translate. I am trying to load example cards of my work and some cards that are available and hopefully when the moderator approved them I will be available to trade. I do not know how to use the evaluate system so hopefully whoever trades with me first can make sure I do it correctly for them!

If interested in trading let me know. I checked most of the rules require 3 positive ratings before being able to participate in games or STAs. Thanks!

These are some of my favorite theme genres but I collect SOO many different specific themes, I put a few more on my profile, but my theme list I love is never ending! :

USA. Wow. That is a bit of a distance :astonished: But why not? :grin: Nice to meet you! (is it right to write “meet you”, when it is online?) — my own english is still very basic, altough I’ve read some (many cough) english stories. :see_no_evil: So hopefully I’m not writing just a big confusing mess of words :joy:

Thank you! Yes I know I’m far away (though I did visit UK, Germany, Ireland and Sweden during June/July 2024 to visit 9 of my international artist friends that also make cards. We’ve known each other and traded cards for almost 10 years now and were all finally able to meet in person! I hope to trade with many artists here! Your English writing looks perfect to me!

I was so surprised when I saw your username because a couple month ago I was thinking of signing up for “ATC it up with friends” but then I didn’t because I already didn’t have much time to draw. But maybe some other time. :sunny:
Your art is beautiful :star2: if I had more time and energy to draw right now, I would have asked you to trade. But I’m sure you’ll find someone in no time.
Until you have enough ratings for STA you could also participate in some forum games. I think for “Wünsch dir was” you don’t need a rating, if I read it correctly in the starting post

And there is also a discord channel where everyone from this website can join. Not everyone uses it but I thought maybe it could be useful for you if you have questions.

I’ve seen ATC it up with friends mentioned in many a KaKAO I ogled in the gallery and considered joining, but I barely draw right now, so that would be a bit silly I guess :sweat_smile:
Your art is so pretty, it reminds me of children’s book illustrations, something I really love. If I had the time, I’d definitely ask for a trade!
(If you want to try some quick trades, there is the option to filter both the entire or individual galleries by free cards. Especially useful if you also have some cards still looking for a home)

I wish you lots of fun and many wonderful trades here. I’ve been around for 16 years now (almost half my life :scream: ), the community is incredibly kind and supportive, I think you’ll feel right at home :blush:

Just thought I’d let you know that my STA Space Animals (so, basically any animal getting up to shenanigans in outer space, on other planets, in space stations…) is still open and doesn’t require a minimum number of ratings. In case you feel inspired. :hugs:

I started making cards in November 2021 and soon found myself on this website. The community is really generous and kind, but I am sure you have plenty of experience with that yourself, having led a community yourself for 10 years! :D
10 years is a long time… I love that this hobby grabs people and doesn’t seem to let them go.

I’ve seen your artworks on Instagram before and I love them! We have a lot of themes in common we both like. I’ve even occasionally seen artists on here upload cards that were done for ATC it up with friends.

I am a slow artist with some health issues so I don’t think I could join your ATC group, but if you ever feel up for a leisurely paced trade let me know!

I had to laugh because since I am a new member the forum system automatically limits how many comments replies and likes I can do. So if I don’t respond it is likely I have hit the system daily limit! :rofl:

Ich musste lachen, denn da ich ein neues Mitglied bin, begrenzt das Forumsystem automatisch die Anzahl der Kommentare, Antworten und Likes, die ich abgeben kann. Wenn ich also nicht antworte, habe ich wahrscheinlich das Tageslimit des Systems erreicht! :rofl:

@prayer_at_night Thank you for letting me know! I found the Light & Effects one and it didn’t require ratings either so I joined last night. I must discipline myself to not overcommit, so for now one STA at a time :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:. I don’t want to fail at completing anything I sign up for!

@Cynerius Yes, absolutely lets do a leisurely trade. Thank you for your compliments!! I am so very slow at personal trades outside of a group style. It seems we are both slow, it will be perfect. It is also easier to pick from cards I have available, custom wish takes me so long. I have plenty available right now, Kakao limits daily uploads and I don’t want to spam the gallery. Just message me!

Es scheint, dass wir beide langsam sind, es wird perfekt sein. Es ist auch einfacher, aus den Karten auszuwählen, die ich zur Verfügung habe, da individuelle Wünsche bei mir so lange dauern. Ich habe im Moment jede Menge verfügbar, Kakao begrenzt die täglichen Uploads und ich möchte die Galerie nicht spammen. Schreib mir einfach eine Nachricht!

@Eleisis Thank you for the welcome! I am definitely excited to be here and to try the STA and trading with other artists. Everyone I have interacted with since joining has been so friendly.

@absol Yes it has been a little overwhelming so far, I spent the entire first day reading so many guidelines and posts in the forums my head was spinning. I hope I understood all the requirements correctly but definitely also hope other members will be patient with me and let me know their expectations or preferences in case I have missed something that is important to them. It might make for some very interesting experiences with me. :sweat_smile:

Ja, es war bisher ein wenig überwältigend, ich habe den ganzen ersten Tag damit verbracht, so viele Richtlinien und Beiträge in den Foren zu lesen, dass mir der Kopf schwirrte. Ich hoffe, dass ich alle Anforderungen richtig verstanden habe, aber ich hoffe auch, dass andere Mitglieder geduldig mit mir sind und mir ihre Erwartungen oder Vorlieben mitteilen, falls ich etwas übersehen habe, das für sie wichtig ist. Das könnte für einige sehr interessante Erfahrungen mit mir sorgen :sweat_smile:
